چکیده

We have studied the kinetics of mixed venous C02 pressure (Pi-,co2) at constant work rates of 300, 450 and 600 kpmlmin (Yano, 1986). The PVco, increased at the onset of exercise, and reached a steady state at 300 and 450 kpmlmin. However, at 600 kpmlmin, the PVco2 indicated a relatively high steady state in comparison with those at other work rates, and decreased after 5 min of exercise. This overshoot may be related to an early increase of lactate at the onset of exercise, since this phenomenon was only observed at the highest exercise intensity of the study. However, lactate was not measured in thjs study. The purpose of the present study is, therefore, to examine if PVco2 overshoots because of lactate increase during exercise.

Cardiac output determination during progressive exercise in cystic fibrosis.

Cardiac output (Q) determination using the equilibrium CO2-rebreathe indirect Fick technique (Equil) to estimate mixed venous PCO2 (Pv-CO2) has been validated during steady state (SS) exercise in subjects with lung disease. A modification of the exponential method using a low concentration of CO2 with an exponential rise in PEt-CO2 (Ex) during rebreathing to estimate Pv-CO2 has been validated d...

Investigation the Kinetics of CO2 Hydrate Formation in the Water System + CTAB + TBAF + ZnO

In this study, the kinetics of gas hydrate formation in the presence of tetra-n-butyl ammonium fluoride (TBAF) and cetyl trimethyl ammonium bromide surface active ingredient (CTAB) with zinc nano oxide (ZnO) are investigated and the most important kinetic parameters of hydrate formation such as their induction time and storage capacity were measured. The kinetic experiments were carried out in ...

Effect of CO2 Partial Pressure on the Thermal Decomposition Kinetics of Zinc Carbonate Hydroxide (TECHNICAL NOTE)

In this work, the effect of carbon dioxide partial pressure on the calcination kinetics of high purity zinc carbonate hydroxide has been studied. Non-isothermal analysis has been performed on samples at different CO2 partial pressures by TGA and DTA. It has been found that the calcination behaviour of this material corresponds to the shrinking core model and the reaction mechanism is phase boun...
